Yesterday I completed my very first paid job!

It was a poem about a whale with 28 verses and 14 hand drawn pictures. It was probably a little out of my sphere of expertise. As well as proofreading the script, I was asked to place the correct drawings with the accompanying text. But I did it and was well pleased with the result. Although the author has not given me any feedback as yet she has asked for my bank details!

I have also acquired another contract copyediting manuals for a bible teacher.

So although just a few weeks after qualifying, seems I am already well on my way. This doesn’t feel like work as I am just enjoying it so much.
